Pekka Rinne Shines in 2008 AHL Skills Competition

Predators prospect goalie Pekka Rinne of the Milwaukee Admirals led the PlanetUSA AHL All-Stars to a victory in the 2008 AHL All-Star Skills Competition.

2008 NHL SuperSkills Competition Part 2

The Predators' Jason Arnott makes it into sudden death in the Shooting Accuracy competition against Tomas Kaberle of the Leafs, and also puts up a respectable slapshot in Hardest Shot with a 100.3 mph shot. Zdeno Chara of the Bruins takes the Hardest Shot win with a 103.1 mph shot. And finally, the Capitals' Alexander Ovechkin takes the Breakaway Challenge by showing the most creative flair.

The East takes the obstacle course relay, while Shawn Horcoff wins the head-to-head fastest skater competition. The West rebounds to win the Elimination Shootout as the Flames' Dion Phaneuf bags a few goals, including one against former Predator Tomas Vokoun.

Sign Up for the Predators FANGtastic 5K Run/Walk 2008

Starting and finishing at the Sommet Center in downtown Nashville, the Predators FANGtastic 5K Run/Walk is being held on February 2, 2008 at 10:00AM. Register early because the event sold out last year. And don't forget, participation will get you a voucher good for a Predators game ticket.
